| These lamps are the visual expression of my island lifestyle... Walking Florida beaches, searching for shells and sea glass with mystic energy and shapes. I am drawn to shells that are weathered and broken from wave action and ocean life, creating natural organic patterns, holes, and textures. The assembly is my meditation and fosters a unique combination of order and randomness. | ||||
| Each lamp is handcrafted in the Tiffany style, utilizing the "copper foil" technique, an authentic assembly method originally developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany over 100 years ago and used by me for the last 25 years. The bases are sculpted cast metal and are finished with a warm antique bronze patina. | ||||

Zen is a multifaceted spiritual tradition that offers a simpler yet more profound way of life and a unique way of seeing . I honestly believe that my Island Zen lamps have captured this energy and can give years of beauty to your home. My studio/home is aboard a magical sailboat docked in South Florida.
